Sarah Lucas: Bunny Rabbit

Contemporary Fine Arts presents “Bunny Rabbit“, the first solo exhibition by Sarah Lucas in the new Basel gallery.

Sarah Lucas has found an almost surreal, supersensible way to bring things together, be they found objects, elaborate sculptural elements, times, narratives, or moods. Thus, the medieval Totengässlein merges with the streets of London’s 90s, with the Paris of the 70s, and the rural England of today.  A Tom-Vac-Chair from 1997 stands next to a specially made concrete armchair; the cold city transforms into a warm field and yet remains the world we all live in.
