Sarah Oppenheimer: N-02

Sarah Oppenheimer‘s work introduces the human motor as an agent of phased movement. Oppenheimer’s latest work, “N-02”, consists of three interconnected “tools”, each consisting of an elongated black aluminium bar and two tracks of linear lighting. Visitors are invited to manipulate each instrument manually. Touch animates the environment, creating cyclical patterns of change. Gestures overlap and intersect. The energy of human movement intertwines with the frequencies of the environment.
