Established in 1970 by Margareta and Miklos von Bartha. Over the past 40 years the gallery has exhibited numerous important artist groups with the main focus on Concrete Art and Kinetic Art.

von Bartha was established in 1970 by Margareta and Miklos von Bartha. The central space of 850 m2 in Basel is where the gallery organizes its 4 – 6 exhibitions of contemporary art annually. The second space is located in S-chanf, close to St. Moritz. Today the gallery is devoted to modern and contemporary art, with both domains interacting and a special focus laid on installations. The gallery is a member of the Basel galleries association Verein Galerien in Basel.
