Anonymous Society for Magick

The collective exhibition “Anonymous Society for Magick” gathers pieces by five artists working across different media and referring the concept of “magick”. First introduced by the occultist and magician Aleister Crowley in the early nineteenth century, the word addresses the ability to understand the self and to turn this knowledge into action, distancing itself from the stage magic.
This also applies to the artistic practice: the exhibition combines the sense of wonder with a social critique of the current society.
