Enrico Castellani

Massimo De Carlo Hong Kong presents “Superfici/Surfaces/雕面” an exhibition by Enrico Castellani, that runs from 18 November, 2016 to 7 January, 2017.

The show focuses on the series “Superfici” (Surfaces), on which Castellani started to work in 1959 and is still producing. These canvases mark an historical moment in his career, these works are a particular play of pushes and curves of the textile fixed on a special structure with spikes realized by the artist.

The exhibition is composed by the works of this great Italian master form the early seventies to the late nighties.
