Saddie Choua: The Chouas – We are the movie!

For her exhibition at Galleria Laveronica, the artist creates works made up of autobiographic stories and history, literature and popular culture. The episodes form the soap series “The Chouas“, which invites the viewer to discover the structures of stereotypical image- formation, dominant codes and partial histories. These stories investigate issues of migration, conflict of cultures and religions, superstition in order to experience the true nature of human existence.
