Strange Days: Memories of the Future

Strange Days: Memories of the Future reunites works by twenty-one renown artists and filmmakers who have shown their works at the New Museum, New York, in its ten years on the Bowery. The show, in fact, is curated by Massimiliano Gioni, the New Museum’s Edlis Neeson Artistic Director, in collaboration with the Vinyl Factory.  The exhibition brings on display artistic personalities such as Kahlil Joseph, John Akomfrah, Jonathas de Andrade, Hassan Kahn, Pipilotti Rist and many more, some of which present works exhibited for the first time in the UK. All the pieces are led by the common thread of the influence of images over memories and visions of the future at the same time.
