Siembra (Sowing) aims to work with different creative timings in order to rethink the demanding calendar of the art world by creating its own exhibition rhythm.
For the whole of 2020, kurimanzutto will host one revolving exhibition throughout the year. Siembra (Sowing) aims to work with different creative timings in order to rethink the demanding calendar of the art world by creating its own exhibition rhythm. The project divides the Mexico City gallery space into seven separate yet interconnected rooms, each showcasing seven independent solo exhibitions simultaneously. Each of the proposals will have a singular lifespan that responds to the creative processes of artists. The programme will be communicated gradually throughout the year.
The artists participating in Sowing are: Eduardo Abaroa, Wendy Cabrera Rubio, Minerva Cuevas, Daniela Rossell and Galen Jackson, Dr. Lakra, Gabriel Orozco and Haegue Yang.
