Urs Fischer: Lovers
Museo Jumex hosts the first solo exhibition by Urs Fischer in Mexico, curated by Francesco Bonami.
The exhibition “Lovers” by Urs Fischer is a 20-year survey of Swiss-born conceptual artist. The exhibition is the first major presentation of Urs Fischer’s work in Mexico and will bring together works from international public and private collections and the artist’s own archive, alongside new pieces made for the museum. Together, they exhibit the wide-ranging creativity, humor, and depth of the artist’s practice.
The exhibition will extend throughout Mexico City through an advertising cam- paign designed by Urs Fischer. From billboards to bus stops, as welll as in the pages of the city’s most notable magazines, advertisements will feature newly created drawings that reflect playful themes and bring the artist’s work directly to the public.
