Nancy Davidson: p e r Sway

“p e r Sway” is the first solo show in Miami by New York-based sculptor Nancy Davidson. Locust Projects spaces will be taken over by Davidson’s immersive installation, exploring ritual and theater and creating a space in which the place of privilege is taken over by parodies of power. Davidson is known for her outsized anthropomorphic inflatables, and her work has unapologetically addressed for over forty years, issues of power, sexuality and femininity through a mix of subversive humor and a taste for absurd.
