Non-Profit

Locust Projects

Founded by artists for artists in 1998, Locust Projects is Miami’s longest running nonprofit alternative art space that produces, presents, and nurtures ambitious and experimental new art and ideas.

Founded in 1988, Locust Projects is a nonprofit alternative space founded by artists for artists to experiment with new ideas without the pressures of gallery sales or limitations of conventional exhibition spaces. Here at Locust Projects, national and international artists are encouraged to create site-specific installations as an extension of their representative work.
