“The Strangeness Will Wear Off” is a collective exhibition which reflects upon the legacy of Modernism and its lasting cultural influence. Taking its title from an unaired radio interview to Jackson Pollock, the show features all new paintings, by which the exhibited artists take the chance to confront with Modernist values, both breaking conventions with innovative approaches and borrowing elements from the past, from Post-
Impressionism, Action Painting, Neo-Dada, and other twentieth-century forms.
