Concretezza dell’essenzialità

For the fourth appointment of the exhibition cycle “MY30YEARS – Coherency in Diversity“, the critic Lóránd Hegyi has invited the artists Maria Elisabetta Novello (Vicenza, 1974) and Mattia Bosco (Milan, 1976) to present new work, specifically conceived for Galleria Fumagalli and in dialogue with an imposing installation by the master Jannis Kounellis (Piraeus, Greece, 1936 – Rome, 2017).

Three installations set up on three walls of the gallery’s salon manifest essentiality through the elements that make up the works. While not intending to impose any link between the artists, all the works convey a strong presence of material, balanced by the sense of lightness, the fragmentary and accumulative character of the elements that compose them.
