Fragilità. Visioni di una forza formativa

A arte Invernizzi presents “Fragilità. Visioni di una forza formativa”, curated by Davide Mogetta, a group exhibition that explores fragility as a formative force through works by Dadamaino, François Morellet, Arcangelo Sassolino, Günter Umberg and Grazia Varisco. The project originates from a dialogue between Günter Umberg and the curator, focusing on the persistence of vulnerability as both an individual and universal condition.

The exhibition examines fragility not as an element to be overcome or transformed, but as an intrinsic component of artistic form. Rather than opposing fragility to resistance, the works reveal how it operates within the very process of formation, shaping materials, gestures and modes of display. Fragility thus emerges as a structural condition, capable of generating works that are simultaneously precarious and stable.

The display brings together works from different periods and media, proposing new juxtapositions that highlight affinities and contrasts. Installations, works on paper and sculptural pieces explore the tension between material solidity and perceptual instability, often challenging expectations associated with their materials. The exhibition unfolds across the gallery spaces, creating a sequence of environments in which light, movement and spatial relations contribute to the experience of fragility as both perceptual and conceptual condition.
