Le Arti, 1964 – 2020: the Practice of Drawing

The group exhibition at Vistamarestudio presents a selection of drawings by different gallery artists

Vistamarestudio, Viale Vittorio Veneto 30, Milan, Italy

A selection of works explores different points of view on the art of drawing. “Le Arti, 1964 – 2020: the Practice of Drawing” starts from Pino Pascali’s work “Omaggio a Ceroli” (“Homage to Ceroli”), 1966, also on view, acting as the fil rouge interacting with all the other pieces.

Works by Mario Airò, Getulio Alviani, Rosa Barba, Joana Escoval, Anna Franceschini, Linda Fregni Nagler, Tom Friedman, Bethan Huws, Mimmo Jodice, Joseph Kosuth, and Armin Linke, among the others, explore drawing as both independent project and origin of an artwork. Each one offers his interpretation, experimenting and demonstrating the medium’s versatility.
