Michelangelo Pistoletto: La Pace Preventiva
The Sala delle Cariatidi in Milan's Palazzo Reale will be transformed into a labyrinth for the next exhibition dedicated to Michelangelo Pistoletto's artistic research path.
La Pace Preventiva, translated to “The Preventive Peace”, is the exhibition dedicated to the great master of Italian contemporary art, protagonist of Arte Povera.
Designed to extend with a wave-like movement over the entire surface of the exhibition space, the installation conceived for the Palazzo Reale in Milan immerses the visitor in a fluid environment that takes on the characteristics of a labyrinth, within which spaces open up to accommodate some of the most emblematic works realised by Michelangelo Pistoletto in the course of his career. An archetype of the journey and personal transformation, the labyrinth is a symbol present in all cultures of the world and at all times, always full of meanings with many facets and interpretations.
