Piero Golia, Diego Perrone on Chris Burden

In a three-day course Golia and Perrone will run a workshop open to students and public which aims to explore Chris Burden‘s artistic practice. To do this, the two Italian artists will take Burden’s studio tools such as drawings, objects, toys to try his personal clues and enter his creative process, specially through the use of cyclostyle printing technique. The project will turn then in an exhibition transforming the space-class’s storage room of an historic mansion of Milan city center by a series of prints. The goal is to create a dialogue approaching contemporary art languages, histories and methods.

The project is curated by The Classroom (an art and education center based in Milan) in co-production with 5vie art+ design district with the media partnership of DOMUS.
