Studio Guenzani, Milano. 1986-2015: Molto-Tutto
Studio Guenzani opens to the public in autumn 1986 with a solo show of Arcangelo. Over the years the gallery has been showing several emerging artists, both international as: Nobuyoshi Araki, Kcho, Yayoi Kusama, Louise Lawler, Paul McCarthy, Charles Ray, Allen Ruppersberg, Salvatore Scarpitta, Cindy Sherman, Hiroshi Sugimoto; and young italian artists as: Stefano Arienti, Giuseppe Gabellone, Luisa Lambri, Margherita Manzelli, Alessandro Pessoli, Matteo Rubbi and Patrick Tuttofuoco.
Retracing its nearly 30 years of activity Studio Guenzani opens all its exhibition rooms, and dedicates a big show to its own history, focusing attention on research that has distinguished the gallery over the years. In an intense dialogue between past and present, all the exhibition rooms will be filled with paintings, sculptures, photographies like being in a wunderkammer.
Among others, will be exhibited works by: Araki, Arcangelo, Arienti, Basilico, Beuys, Bishton, Castellani, Gabellone, Garutti, Gobbi, Kaufmann, Kcho, Kusama, Lambri, Landers, Lawler, Lockhart, Manzelli, Mapplethorpe, McCarthy, Meadows, Morimura, Mulas, Nagy, Nepomuceno, Not Vital, Opie, Owens, Penone, Pessoli, Pittman, Rubbi, Ruppersberg, Scarpitta, Sherman, Sugimoto, Tuttofuoco and Yuskavage.
