Parsing – The Mind’s Eye
The exhibition delves into the mind of the artist with expressions thrown from his agitated psyche striving to extract experiences from the collective consciousness. The medium of expression is ceramic in which glass is his main motivation. The works juxtapose the inner feelings of the artist through the plasticity of the material at high temperatures. The amalgamation evokes a strange quality of thrill and joy in the making, which manifests itself finally in the works.
The play of light through glass with refractions and reflections give a strange mysterious quality to the works. It also gives a window to watch and experience the algorithms in the mind of the artist which are a joy to experience.
