Ali Cherri: Satellite 10 Programme

Ali Cherri is a video and visual artist whose current project displayed at the Jeu de Paume looks at the place of the archaeological object in the construction of historical narratives. “Satellite 10 Programme” is a Beirut-born and Paris-based artist’s solo show that explores the unearthed systems of archaeological preservation, investigating the history of ruins and cartography in the context of the Middle East and North Africa’s pre- and post-colonial histories.
