Jeu de Paume
Established in 2004 in Paris, this art centre is focused on exhibiting and promoting all forms of mechanical and electronic imagery: photography, cinema, video, installation, web art.
1 Pl. de la Concorde, 75001 Paris, France
Jeu de Paume is an art centre dedicated to photography, cinema, video, installation, web art and other forms of mechanical and electronic imagery. Through exhibitions, film programmes, talks, seminars, symposia and educational activities, it explores visual culture across historical and contemporary perspectives. Its programme presents established and emerging artists, including through the Satellite programme, while fostering dialogue between disciplines and ideas. Beyond its Paris venue on Place de la Concorde, the Jeu de Paume has partnered with the city of Tours since 2010. Its online activities, including Le magazine, extend this dialogue through digital projects, articles, portfolios, interviews and multimedia content.
