Jutta Koether: ŒuVreS réCEnteS

Conceived around Jutta Koether’s longstanding fascination with La Chasse spirituelle — the legendary, apocryphal text long attributed to Arthur Rimbaud — the exhibition also marks a renewed engagement with Paris, a city she approaches not simply as a place, but as an artistic medium.

Bringing together a new body of work, the exhibition explores painting as a space for improvisation, reflection and transmission, where images, texts and echoes of art history continually intersect. Created to be experienced in person, these paintings reveal themselves through attentive and sustained observation, inviting each visitor to embark, in Koether’s words, on a kind of ‘spiritual hunt’.
