Nick Mauss: In this time

For his second exhibition at the gallery, Nick Mauss presents a new series of works across the gallery’s second-floor spaces on rue Charlot.

For over two decades, Mauss has developed a hybrid practice that challenges fixed categories and rejects any hierarchy between media, moving freely between reverse glass painting, ceramics, textiles, sculpture, writing and performance. Shifting between abstraction and figuration, his works bring images into a state of suspension, populated by incomplete figures and ambiguous forms. This sense of formal instability extends beyond the works themselves, shaping their relationship to space and the viewer, and creating an encounter in which perception remains open and continually in flux.
