Precious Okoyomon: It’s Important to Have Ur Fangs Out at the End of the World

Precious Okoyomon’s debut solo exhibition with Mendes Wood DM, and their first in Paris, opens during Art Basel, accompanied by a special presentation at the gallery’s booth. The exhibition, curated by Claude Adjil, surveys their immersive, genre-blurring practice, which probes the entanglements of race, nature, and power. It unfolds across several environments, including new wallpaper, child-sized teddy bear sculptures, dioramas, a new poem, and a large horticultural installation with sound.
