Romina de Novellis: Si tu m’aime, protège moi

“Si tu m’aime, protège moi” is a new performance and video installation by artist Romina de Novellis inspired by the peasant cultures of Southern Italy, in which women covered the ears of hens before practicing any violent gesture that could have shocked them and caused their infertility. The artist turns the gallery space into an immersive installation with a strong emotional impact, focussing on the topic of eco-feminism as a key to get out of the current consumeristic system.
