Saâdane Afif: The Fountain Archives

In occasion of 100 years anniversary of Duchamp’s Fountain, Saâdane Afif presents The Fountain Archive, a collection of articles reproducing the famous ready-made since 2008. The pages with The Fountain are torn from publications edited in thousands copies, giving back the uniqueness both to the single page and to the magazine. The exhibition, dealing with reproduction and production, is enriched by lyrics inspired by The Fountain Archive, written by various authors under request of the artist.
