Juergen Teller: Enjoy Your Life!

Considered one of the world’s most valued contemporary photographers, Juergen Teller presents “Enjoy Your Life!” at Galerie Rudolfinum. Successfully mixing art and commercial photography, Teller became famous in 1991 when he portrayed the band Nirvana, and his iconic pictures of Kurt Cobain were published in Details Magazine.

The exhibition collects early as well as recent themes and compositions by the photographer who overcame the boundaries between public and private, fashion and aesthetic, portrait and landscape pictures. Even if his practice apparently proceeds in a random manner, the artist works with precise planning and staging.

Juergen Teller, was born in Erlangen in 1964 and his works are published in books, magazines and exhibitions. When he moved to London in 1986, he started photographing for music, time and fashion magazines.

The exhibition held in Prague is co-production by the gallery with Bundeskunsthalle Bonn and Martin Gropius Bau in Berlin.
