Apichatpong Weerasethakul: Phantoms of Nabua

After a partnership with CINUSP, Paço das Artes exhibits in its video room the work Phantoms of Nabua, by Thai Apichatpong Weerasethakul (b. 1970, Bangkok).

To create the piece, the artist wente to the city of Nabua, where he observed and recorded the memories and religious beliefs of its residents. From this material, Weerasethakul proposed a video-installation, that transforms the gallery where the film is projected into a somber and phantasmagoric space.
