Denise Milan: orDeNAção, DNA da Pedra (Ordination | Stone’s DNA)

The exhibition is the second solo show by the artist Denise Milan at Galeria Lume and appears as a continuation of the previous exhibition “ConCentração” (Concentration). orDeNAção features nineteen of the most recent works by the artists and reports on the way that she organizes the stones in search of the similarities between the “DNA” of the stone and ours.

In her work, Denise Milan recounts the splendours, the solemn moments and the silent slowness of mineral kingdom under our feet, giving voice to the “Universal Language of Stones” showing us that humanity and nature come from the same volcanic matter. Beside the solo show, the artist has been invited to present a special individual project for 33rd Bienal of São Paulo.
