Elogios da Cor (Praises of color)

The group exhibition, curated by Ligia Canongia, features the participation of twelve recognized artists, seven of which are new in the gallery collection.
The show gathers editions unpublished and exclusively produced for the gallery, which range over different languages and formats.

According to the curator, “Almost all the artists in this exhibition are painters. The proposition, however, was to think of the use of color outside the limits of the painting: the brushes, the pick and the flax. Thus, works in engraving, photography, objects and digital devices have been called to elucidate, primarily, the distinction of color as a matter of language”.
