Mauro Restiffe: History as Landscape

OGR presents an exhibition, on Binario 2, dedicated to the work of Brazilian photographer Mauro Restiffe under the title of ‘History as Landscape’. Architecture (particularly Modernism) has always been a source of inspiration Restiffe, throughout the course of his career the artist has traveled world over and captured the mastery of well known architects from Philip Johnson to Oscar Niemeyer.

For his show at OGR, curated by Nicola Ricciardi & Giulia Guidi, Restiffe has focused upon Italy, with the results of his research into projects by Carlo Mollino, Piero Portaluppi, Franco Albini and Carlo Scarpa, among others.
