Monica Bonvicini: As Walls Keep Shifting

OGR presents a new installation in Binario 1 by Monica Bonvicini. Bonvicini’s practice looks to the relationship between architecture, power, gender, space, surveillance and control, this in turn is translated into work that critically questions the sites where it is exhibited, the materials used, and the roles of both spectator and creator. Ever imbued with a dry and direct humour and historical, political and social references. All these characteristics are on display in full force for her installation at OGR, curated by Nicola Ricciardi and Samuele Piazza.
