Amoako Boafo: It doesn’t have to always make sense

Museo di Palazzo Grimani presents Amoako Boafo’s first solo exhibition in Italy. Drawing inspiration from the Renaissance atmosphere of the palazzo, the exhibition features a series of new works that respond directly to the site’s architecture and historical context. Installed on the second floor, the presentation continues Boafo’s exploration of identity and style while establishing a dialogue between contemporary Black representation and the enduring legacy of Venetian artistic masterworks. The exhibition is presented in collaboration with Gagosian.
