The palace once again hosts, after four hundred years, the archaeological collection of Giovanni Grimani—one of the finest of the sixteenth century. The rooms are adorned with exceptional stuccoes and frescoes that reflect the Grimani family’s unconventional taste. These were created by Mannerist artists such as Giovanni da Udine, Francesco Salviati, Camillo Mantovano, Francesco Menzocchi, and Federico Zuccari.
