Domus Grimani: La Sala del Doge

The exhibition is the second chapter of a project born from the collaboration between Direzione regionale Musei Veneto MiBACT and the Venetian Heritage Foundation to bring back to Palazzo Grimani ancient collections of artworks. These consist of classical sculptures belonging to the Grimani family and brought back to their original home after four centuries.
This new exhibition chapter brings back to the palazzo a collection of sculptures once located inside the Sala del Doge, one of the palace’s most spectacular settings, celebrating Antonio Grimani, the first doge of the family.
