Giuseppe Di Liberto: Per sempre, fino alla fine
For Giuseppe Di Liberto, the apocalypse is a cyclical condition, a permanent state of anticipation, and a tension that continually resurfaces without ever fully coming to pass. The exhibition, curated by Marta Cereda and Giulia Mariachiara Galiano, is a site-specific project created for the Project Room at Ca’ Pesaro. Drawing on memories of the Venetian typographic tradition of the fifteenth century and an olfactory dimension, the installation constructs an imaginary landscape in which appearance and dissolution, memory and premonition coexist in an unstable balance.
It reactivates the experience of waiting, suspended between persistence and transformation.
The exhibition is realised in collaboration with Salotto Longhena and with the support of Galleria Poggiali and Kindof.
