Ca’ Pesaro

Venue of the International Gallery of Modern Art, was built in the second half of the Seventeenth century for the noble and wealthy Pesaro family by Venetian baroque architect Baldassarre Longhena.

Today the collection includes Modern Italian and International art with works by Morandi, De Chirico, Carrà, Kandinsky, Mirò, Matta. On the top floor, the Museum of Oriental Art, hosts one of the most important European collection of art from Edo period and of Japanese objects.

The permanent exhibition at Ca’ Pesaro comprises also protagonists of 20th-century art as Andy Warhol, Richard Serra, Jeff Koons, together with Dine, Lichtenstein, Flavin, Judd and Wesselman.
