Ca’ Pesaro hosts one of the most authoritative and eclectic Spanish practitioners of contemporary art and architecture: Juan Navarro Baldeweg. Architect, painter, sculptor, engraver, lecturer and essayist, Baldeweg has designed some of the most emblematic Spanish buildings of recent decades, among them the Palace of Congresses and Exhibitions of Castilla and León in Salamanca, the Altamira Research and Museum Centre in Santillana del Mar, the Teatros del Canal in Madrid, and the Museum of Human Evolution in Burgos.
