Raoul Schultz: Opere 1953-1970

Ca’ Pesaro, Calle del Tentor 2076, 30135 Santa Croce, Venice, Italy

The exhibition showcases over 50 works by Venetian artist Raoul Schultz (1931–1971), including pieces preserved in the civic collections of the Galleria Internazionale d’Arte Moderna and from private collections like Daniele Tiozzo’s. It chronologically traces Schultz’s career, from his 1950s figurative paintings of Venetian architecture to his 1960s more mature experiences of “Prospettive curve” and “Nuove strutture”.

Schultz’s collaborations with Tinto Brass, his ties to Hugo Pratt and L’Asso di Picche group, and his diverse artistic ventures—including set design, illustration, and comics—are also highlighted, providing a comprehensive look at his multifaceted creativity.
