Lorenzo Vitturi: Borgo Roma. Paesaggio in transizione

The EARTH Foundation in Verona presents Borgo Roma. Paesaggio in transizione, an exhibition dedicated to the project by Lorenzo Vitturi, supported by the 2023 Photography Strategy from the Ministry of Culture. The exhibition, open to the public free of charge from 25 September 2024 to 6 January 2025, explores the Borgo Roma neighbourhood, highlighting its history and social relationships through over thirty colour photographs and installations.

Curated by Giangavino Pazzola and Giulia Adami, the exhibition sheds light on urban transformations linked to the migration of goods and people, focusing on the area’s industrial past, which is now evolving into a commercial and cultural hub. Vitturi conducted field research with anthropologist Caterina Borelli, gathering testimonies from local communities. Additionally, the exhibition includes works from previous projects, offering a broader view of Vitturi’s artistic practice.
