Art Basel Paris 2026

Avenue Winston Churchill

Now in its fifth edition, Art Basel Paris returns to the Grand Palais from October 23–25, 2026, with Preview Days on October 21 and 22. This year, under the direction of Karim Crippa, it brings together 211 exhibitors from 41 countries and territories across its three sectors, with 32 galleries joining for the first time. More than 60 exhibitors operate spaces in France, underscoring the fair’s continued grounding in the local gallery ecosystem alongside its international roster.

Art Basel Paris is structured across three exhibition sectors: Galeries, Emergence, Premise.

Galeries brings together 183 leading modern, post-war and contemporary art dealers from France and beyond, showcasing their programmes through solo, duo and group presentations spanning 20th-century masters, contemporary blue-chip artists, mid-career practitioners and emerging voices.

Emergence presents 16 solo booths dedicated to emerging artistic practices across the balconies of the Grand Palais’ central Nave. The 2026 edition is marked by significant renewal, with 12 first-time participants and broad geographic representation from Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and the Americas.

Art Basel Paris’ signature sector Premise presents singular curatorial projects that revisit and expand art historical narratives, including underrecognized practices and, in selected cases, works produced before 1900. Twelve galleries participate this year, including nine first-time Art Basel Paris exhibitors, with presentations spanning historically grounded, research-led approaches to Modern and contemporary art histories.

This year’s edition of Oh La La! – Art Basel Paris’s special initiative that invites galleries to present new works at their booths on the Friday and Saturday of the fair – is art-directed by French actress Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu and is centred on the theme “Myths and Legends”.

Art Basel Paris’s Public Programme returns for its fifth edition in partnership with leading Parisian institutions, with Miu Miu as Public Programme Official Partner.

Art Basel’s Conversations brings together major figures from across art and culture, alongside artist one-on-ones conversations.
