“Persona” is the exhibition of Gerardo Goldwasser presented at the Uruguayan Pavilion at the 59th Venice Biennale.  The exhibition presents a critical reflection on what makes a body or a human being a person. According to Goldwasser – who recalls the greek classical theatre in which the persona is “the actor’s mask” – every human being is perceived as a person by constructing his or her appearance, his or her way of entering onto the scene every day of his or her life.
