The Teatrino di Palazzo Grassi presents, for the first time, Gestus: a site-specific exhibition project, curated by Video Sound Art.

Gestus is a collective exhibition where the artists have been invited to reflect on the body and the space that it occupies, inspired by the great masters of 20th-century theatre such as Artaud, Copeau, and Decroux. The exhibition is divided into two different acts, the first act “Gestus I: Rifare il corpo” takes place from 15th Oct to 17th Oct, the second act “Gestus II: L’assemblea delle emozioni” will be displayed from 1st Dec to 15th Jan.

The body of artwork includes video art, installations, choral actions, and performances by the artists: Annamaria Ajmone, Ludovica Carbotta, Andrea DiLorenzo, Caterina Gobbi, Luca Trevisani, Driant Zeneli, and Enrique Ramirez, who was a guest of the artist residency at the Pinault Collection.
