Elisabetta Barisoni

Elisabetta Barisoni holds a degree in Modern Literature from the Università di Bologna. From 2003 to 2015, she served as Curator of temporary exhibitions at the MART – Museo di Arte Moderna e Contemporanea di Trento e Rovereto, overseeing numerous exhibitions in Italy and abroad.

Since 2015, she has been with the Fondazione Musei Civici di Venezia (MUVE), and since March 2016 she has served as Head of Ca’ Pesaro – Galleria Internazionale d’Arte Moderna di Ca’ Pesaro.

Barisoni is responsible for the organisational management of the Galleria Internazionale d’Arte Moderna di Ca’ Pesaro and the Museo Fortuny (Museum Area), as well as the venues of the Emeroteca dell’Arte, MUVE Centro Culturale Candiani, Palaplip, the MUVE Pavilion at Forte Marghera, and Vega.Stock (MUVE in Mestre).
