Luca Cutrufelli (Messina, 1982) currently lives and works between Milan and Lipari, Eolian Island. After working as an assistant at the studio of Marco Tirelli, Maurizio Mochetti and Bruna Esposito in Rome and graduating in Construction Engineering for Restoration at the University of Messina in 2007, he continued his career as an artist with several solo exhibitions. These include “Le Marais/La Palude” at Galerie Bendana-Pinel in Paris (2013) and “Mein Gebiet/Il mio campo” at Galleria Fuoricampo in Sienna (2012). Group exhibitions include “Liber fare” at Palazzo Ziino, Palermo (2018); “Museo delle Palme” at the Botanical Garden in Palermo (2015); “Generazione x” at the Polo Museale regionale d’Arte Moderna e Contemporanea, Palermo; “C’era una volta un futuro” at Spazio industriale, Rome. Luca Cutrufelli has also taken part in numerous workshops and residencies, including Viafarini, Milan (2021/22); Bocs Art Residenze d’Artista, Cosenza (2016); Loc – Laboratorio contemporaneo, workshop with Masbedo, Capo D’Orlando (2016), Atelier sul mare, workshop with Diego Perrone and Gianni Caravaggio, Tusa (2014).
