Ernesto Neto

Ernesto Neto is a Brazilian artist born in Rio de Janeiro in 1964. Since the 1990s Neto has produced a body of work exploring constructions of social space and the natural world by addressing physical interaction and sensory experience. The artist incorporates organic shapes and materials that engage the five senses, producing a new type of sensory perception that questions boundaries between artwork and viewer.
