Sara Enrico

Sara Enrico is an Italian artist who lives and works in Turin.
Her interest revolves around the idea of weaving seen as an activating of connection, starting from certain pictorial paradigms to observe the relationship between the body, clothing, and the space, and from experimentation with textile or industrial materials through manual and digital processes. As a physical and linguistic system, her work interprets reality by experiencing “tactile proximity”.
She is among the winners of the IV edition of the Italian Council (2018); in 2017 she was the recipient of the New York Prize.
