Shi Jindian

Shi Jindian graduated from the Sichuan Fine Arts Institute in Chongqing in 1974. With his continuous creative processes from traditional to modern art, he has developed into an ‘organic intellectual’ artist of unique skill, and this is reflected in his choice of subject matters – objects with historical and cultural significance and his superb craftsmanship. His works have been exhibited at the Montpellier Chinese Contemporary Art Biennale, Chengdu Biennale, Guangzhou Triennial, parallel exhibition of the 54th and 55th Venice Biennales and the White Rabbit Museum.
