Arcadia Missa

35 Duke St, London W1U 1LH, UK

Arcadia Missa gallery was founded in November 2014, after being a project space between 2011-2014. Arcadia Missa publications include the journal “How to Sleep Faster”, artists and writers’ novellas, and occasional anthologies such as “Re-Materialising Feminism”.

In late 2014 Arcadia Missa established as a commercial gallery after being a project space since 2011, beginning to represent artists, many of whom were from the existing network of collaborators formed in the gallery’s previous years as a project space.

The main focus is on emerging artists, whose practice is specifically geared towards highlighting contemporary struggles within the various fields of identity politics under networked capitalism. The gallery represents a number of artists working in video, installation, performance, sculpture, photography and painting. Arcadia Missa also has a regular publishing programme of journals and artist books.
