“Slight Agitation 2/4” by Swiss artist Pamela Rosenkranz is the second chapter of the exhibition project by Fondazione Prada which includes four site-specific commissioned works. Curated by the Fondazione Prada Thought Council, Pamela’s installation “Infection” deals on how physical, biological and natural elements affect art.
The installation consists of a huge mountain of sand inside the Cisterna’s tall spaces. The sand is impregnated with fragrance of synthetic cat pheromones that activates a biologically attraction or repulsion and subconsciously influence the public’s movement. RGB green light illuminates the peak of this chemically altered nature gently evaporating the scent.
